Today, I'm proud to introduce Golden Shield Protection.

Over the past few years, my co-founders Nick Chimicles, Andrew Kichline, and I watched our grandparents face the same struggle: navigating an internet designed to deceive them. The constant "Is this a scam?" phone calls. The anxiety before every online purchase. The fear of one wrong click draining their savings.

In 2024 alone, older Americans lost $3.1 billion to online scams. Behind every statistic is a grandparent who lost their independence, a family that lost their trust, and savings that took decades to build—gone in minutes. We knew there had to be a better way. In the last three months, we've been building an AI-powered cybersecurity software designed specifically for and with older adults in mind. Golden Shield makes identifying scams as simple as clicking a button. It monitors for phishing attempts, blocks suspicious remote access, flags fraudulent URLs, and provides a panic button to stop ongoing scams instantly.

Currently working on Mac, we’re finishing our Windows app by the end of this month and expanding to mobile soon for complete protection across every device.
